Danty talks with guest Jordy, a multidisciplinary creative who identifies primarily as a DJ and compares his role to Entourage’s Turtle—observing, learning, and building. Jordy explains his start DJing in 2022, delivering pizzas, teaching himself, and gaining confidence after seeing a wack DJ at a Fashion Week party. After posting mixes and a radio-style series on SoundCloud, he moved in 2024 for school and began DJing house parties, learning to adapt to crowds instead of rigidly planning sets. He discusses refresh habits for USBs, differences between parties and artist events, skepticism about DJ “discourse,” and how social media and economic pressures push DJs to self-promote and manufacture viral moments, often at the expense of artistic integrity and organic growth.

In episode four, we  have Clay, a New York–based multi-hyphenate behind Late to My Funeral (he was only 10 minutes late for our pod appointment) discussing his style, brand origins, and creative path. He recounts developing art through drawing, murals via Groundswell, and oil painting, while also freestyling and recording music in high school.
